Each earring builds a flower around a round aquamarine. Six petals of white gold curl out from the stone, every one pavé set with small round diamonds and pierced with an open loop, so light travels through the frame as much as off it. The 0.16 carats of diamonds are distributed across those petals instead of packed into a solid halo.
The aquamarine is a pale, watery blue, 0.42 carats for the pair, and 14K white gold keeps that lightness cool rather than tipping it warm. At 10 by 9 millimeters the earrings are small in the hand, but the openwork gives them noticeably more presence at the ear than a plain stud of the same measurement.
