The aquamarine is cut as a cushion and set face up in a close diamond halo, with the bail above it also pave set so the brightness carries up into the chain rather than stopping at the top of the frame. At 3.02 carats the stone is a pale sea blue that goes nearly colorless at the edges and gathers tone toward the middle, which is why the white gold surround suits it: nothing warm is competing.
The drop measures 20 by 14 millimeters and hangs from a fine white gold cable chain, sitting high on the chest where the pale blue stays readable against skin. Diamonds total 0.24 carats across halo and bail.
