Five round aquamarines run in a line across the top of the band, each one held in its own scalloped frame of small diamonds, so the row reads as a chain of linked circles rather than a center stone with accents beside it. The middle stone is fractionally the largest and the outer pair step down, which gives the run a gentle taper toward the shoulders.
Set east to west, the design covers a good width of finger while staying low, closer to a wide band than a raised ring. The 1.34 carats of aquamarine is divided across the five stones with 0.22 carats of diamond doing the outlining, all in 14K white gold at size 7 US. Pale blue keeps its softness against the white metal rather than being sharpened by it.
