An oval aquamarine is bezel set at the centre of an elongated plaque worked in the Art Deco manner: geometric openwork, dense white topaz pave, and milgrain beading along every edge. The plaque runs north to south and covers a good length of the finger while staying shallow, so it sits flat rather than standing up. Almost half the stone weight is in the topaz surround, which tells you where the detail is.
