Oval aquamarines run the full length of this tennis bracelet, laid across the band rather than along it so each stone shows its widest face upward. The blue is very pale, closer to water than to sky, and in most lights the line reads nearly colorless with just a wash of blue collecting toward the ends of the ovals. Four small prongs hold each stone, and the links between are short enough that the run barely breaks.
At eight inches the bracelet is longer than the usual seven, so it turns loosely on the wrist and lets the stones catch light from more angles. Sterling silver keeps the setting cool and does nothing to warm the blue. A box clasp with a safety catch closes it.
