A pair of round brilliant black diamonds, 3.46 carats together, each held in a four claw basket that leaves the girdle open on every side. The faceting reads clearly against the dark body of the stone: the crown breaks into sharp triangular facets that catch light along their edges while the table stays flat and unlit, so each stud registers as form and outline rather than flash.
14K white gold pushes the contrast as far as it will go, bright metal set directly against black, with a slim polished collar and post and butterfly backs behind. At 8 millimeters across, each stone fills the lobe and sits close to it.
