This is a rigid bangle shaped as a coiled snake, the head riding over the tail where the two ends pass one another at the front of the wrist. The entire body is pave set with black diamonds, laid tight along every curve so no bare metal shows from the crown of the head to the tip of the tail. Set against a darkened metal, the stones give a low grainy glitter instead of bright flashes, which keeps the form of the animal legible rather than letting it dissolve into sparkle.
Two rubies mark the eyes, set flush into the pave of the head, and small touches of yellow gold appear at the tail end where the terminals meet. The body carries 6.31 carats of black diamonds; the two eyes account for five hundredths of a carat between them.
