Three rows of small black diamonds run the width of this band, pave set into blackened metal and held between two bright polished silver borders. The 0.28 carats is the total across all of them. Blackening the setting metal removes every bright point between the stones, so the band reads as one continuous dark stripe rather than as a row of separate diamonds, and the polished edges either side sharpen that stripe considerably. The profile is gently domed, low enough to sit against a second ring.
