Two round brilliants, eight millimeters across, each caught by four broad flat prongs that lie over the girdle like small bars. Against yellow gold the black reads as flat graphic contrast, and the crown facets break into a shifting pattern of gray and near black as the head turns.
The basket underneath is open, and the stones ride high enough to leave a rim of gold light around the edge. At this diameter the pair covers the lobe completely.
