Each hoop is built from a chain of marquise shaped links. The front half of the circle is pavé set, blue diamond filling the body of every navette with a line of white diamond running down its spine; the back half is left as open polished silver, the same marquise outline with nothing set in it.
The split puts the color where it is actually seen and keeps the weight down. At 29 millimeters tall and 4 wide these are small hoops, and at conversational distance the blue reads as one continuous dark band rather than as separate stones, with the white line catching along its middle. A hinged post closes at the top.
