All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Each stone is a round brilliant held in four fine white gold prongs, seated close to the lobe with no visible basket underneath. The blue is smoky and steel-toned rather than bright, so the studs stay quiet from a distance and then throw a flash when they meet a light source head on. At 5 millimeters across they are a working size, clearly present without covering much of the ear.
The prongs are slim enough to vanish against the skin, which leaves the color as the only thing visible from a step or two away. Nothing about them moves; they sit flat and stay put through the day.
