All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Each earring is a short curved hoop rather than a flat stud. Two lines of small white diamonds follow the outer edges of the curve, and between them a marquise shaped panel outlined in blue diamonds runs the full length, its middle left open so the form reads as a leaf or an eye against the skin. The blue stones are set in darkened metal, which pushes their color away from the white rows on either side.
All of it is worked small. The earring measures 15 by 8 millimeters and packs dozens of stones into that space, so the pattern only fully resolves up close; from across a room it reads as a bright curve with a dark line drawn through the middle. White diamonds come to 0.22 carats and blue diamonds to 0.18.
