This is a full tennis bracelet: oval blue sapphires run the entire circuit, each held in four prongs, and between every pair of ovals sits a small round white topaz set into the connecting link. The white points break the blue at regular intervals so the line reads as rhythm rather than a solid block of color, and at more than eight carats the sapphires have enough size to hold their shape at arm's length.
Seven inches keeps it close to the wrist. A box clasp with a figure-eight safety catch closes the line and matches the width of the links, so the fastening disappears into the run of stones.
