Oval blue sapphires fill a navette shaped plaque, set in staggered rows with small round white zircons dropped into every gap between them and running as a fine border all the way around the outline. The white stones are not simply an edge treatment; they punctuate the blue field throughout, which stops a deep, saturated color from going solid and flat.
Three and a half carats in total across a head that reads long on the hand, all in rhodium plated silver, with a plain tapered shank behind it.
