Built in two pieces: a pear shaped plaque pavé set with small round diamonds hangs from the post, and a jump ring drops a pear cut blue sapphire below it in three white gold claws. The sapphires themselves carry no accent stones at all, so the twenty-four diamonds sit entirely in the two tops and the color hangs clear beneath them.
That split gives each earring two very different surfaces, bright broken white light above and a single deep blue plane below that swings and shifts. Seventeen millimeters of total length by seven across, with 2.67 carats of sapphire between the pair.
