All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Each oval face is built in two tones. An emerald cut blue sapphire is bezel set at the center, deep enough to read almost black until light crosses the table, and around it the white metal opens into a scrolled gallery rather than closing tight against the stone. Four pear cut white stones sit at the compass points in yellow gold bezels, the only warm metal on the piece, and a pavé border of small round diamonds traces the outer rim. Forty-eight diamonds across the pair at 0.11 carat, which is what gives that rim its fine continuous glint.
At 15 by 13 millimeters these are substantial studs. The openwork stays legible at conversation distance, so what carries is the pattern and the dark rectangle at its middle rather than the individual stones.
