The pendant is a plain round disc in warm yellow tone, engraved across the lower half with the word Mom in a soft handwritten script. Above the lettering sits a small applied heart, its outline picked out in white metal and bead set with three round blue sapphires that press deep into the polished surface behind them.
The whole design turns on that contrast: three points of dark blue against a broad unbroken field of yellow, with nothing else competing for attention. The disc measures 30 x 20 mm and hangs from an 18 inch chain, so it settles just below the throat and stays easy to read at conversational distance.
