This is a MOM pendant, and the sapphires do the outlining: the three letters are cut in polished sterling silver, and small round blue sapphires are pave set in darkened metal around and between them so the word stands out in relief. A tiny heart sits inside the O. At thirty two millimetres wide it reads clearly at conversational distance, which is the entire point of a word pendant, and the blue is deep enough to look almost navy against the silver.
