A single row of round diamonds rings the oval sapphire here, and the halo is shaped to a soft cushion outline with gentle points at the top and bottom rather than a plain circle, which gives the drop a faintly antique silhouette at the neck. The bail is set with diamonds as well, so the line of light carries up off the pendant and onto the chain.
The sapphire reads dark and saturated against that bright frame, and the 18K white gold holds stone and setting at the same temperature. At 23 by 12 millimeters it is a compact drop that still resolves clearly from a few paces away.
