The drop is a cushion cut blue sapphire of 3.66 carats inside a close pave diamond halo, hung from a short pave bail that holds the pendant upright instead of letting it swing flat. At 22 by 13 millimeters it reads as a defined shape at the hollow of the throat rather than a single point of light.
It is shown on a yellow gold rope chain, and the twist of that rope lays a low steady shine along the neckline which the diamond halo then breaks. Diamond weight totals 0.32 carats.
