Two butterflies climb the open shank of this ring, wings pave set with small round sapphires, while a third butterfly in plain polished silver rests where the other end of the band passes by without meeting it. The color is scattered across many small stones rather than massed in one, so the piece flickers blue as the hand moves instead of holding a single point of light.
The bypass leaves the top asymmetric, and it reads differently from each side of the hand. A slim rounded band keeps the motifs standing proud of the finger. Sized 7 US, with 0.12 carats of sapphire in total.
