Oval blue sapphires are packed into an elongated navette shaped plaque, several staggered rows deep through the middle and tapering to a point at either end, so the cluster lies along the finger rather than across it. Small bright accents fill the tips where the rows run out.
Set this way the ovals tile into one another with almost no metal showing between, and the top reads as a single blue field of varying tone, some stones lighter and grayer, others considerably deeper. Sterling silver claws and a plain shank, size 9.
