The face of this ring is not one stone but seven: six round blue sapphires arranged around a seventh at the center, shared prongs holding them close so the group reads as a single round disc of deep blue. The stones vary slightly in tone, some near navy and one or two lighter and greyer, which keeps the cluster from looking machine matched.
A beaded frame in white metal rings the whole cluster, textured rather than smooth, and the shank tapers away from it quickly so the head sits proud of the finger. Sterling silver, a little over two carats of sapphire in total, and a face wide enough to work as a cocktail ring.
