A single row of square-cut blue sapphires runs channel set along the top of this sterling silver band, held flush between two plain rails with no prongs interrupting the line. The stones meet edge to edge, so the blue reads as one unbroken bar of color laid across the finger instead of a series of separate points, and the channel keeps the whole face flat.
Total sapphire weight across the row is 3.10 carats. The band is narrow and squared in section, which is what lets the color do all the work; silver stays cool and neutral behind it. Sized at 8 US, it wears as a half eternity band rather than a raised setting.
