Two pear cut sapphires face in opposite directions at the top of the ring, one set high and one low, so the design is a bypass with no single centered head. Each stone is seated in a crescent of very small diamonds that curves beneath it like a half frame, and between the two the gold is pierced into open heart outlines.
The 0.28 carats of sapphire is divided between those two pears, and against yellow gold their blue looks deeper than it would beside a white metal. Each side of the shank is worked in a fine rope twist that carries the eye up into the setting. Shown in a US size 7, with custom sizing available on request.
