Seven round blue sapphires alternate with small round diamonds along the top of this yellow gold band, dark stone, bright stone, dark stone, all the way across the arc. The sapphires are prong set and slightly proud of the band; the diamonds sit lower and flush between them, so the surface has a subtle rise and fall to it.
Yellow gold under a near navy blue pushes the sapphires darker still, and the small diamonds are what keep the line from closing up into a solid dark stripe. The band is narrow and flat backed, sitting snug at size nine without adding height on the finger.
