A small round blue sapphire sits inside a close halo of round diamonds, the halo itself scarcely wider than a pencil eraser, and the pave carries a short distance down each shoulder before the band tapers away to a plain wire. Nothing about the head is tall; it rests almost flush to the finger.
Yellow gold surrounds the white halo, so the ring reads as a small warm disc with a dark blue point at its center. At size six the scale stays deliberately modest, and the diamond weight nearly matching the sapphire weight is what accounts for the amount of white in the setting.
