The small oval sapphire is set into a pointed starburst halo, the surrounding diamonds arranged in alternating longer and shorter points so the outline reads as a star rather than a circle. Everything else is left plain: a smooth tapered band, no pave, no engraving, nothing to pull attention off the head.
0.32 carats of sapphire and 0.08 of diamond make this small by weight and it looks it on the hand, sitting neat and low at size 5. White gold and the white of the halo run together, so blue is the only color in the piece.
