An oval sapphire sits square in the middle of a plain white gold band, and at each shoulder a rounded trefoil of three small diamonds curls in toward it, closed off at the outer edge by a polished lobe of metal. The head barely rises above the finger, so the ring reads as one continuous line broken only where the blue interrupts the white.
0.36 carats of sapphire with four points of diamond gathered around it. The band stays narrow the whole way round and the setting adds almost nothing to its height. Sized 7 US.
