All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
An oval blue sapphire stands alone in a four prong white gold head, set north to south so its length runs with the finger rather than across it. There is no frame around it; the only other stones are a single row of small round diamonds bead set into each shoulder, tapering out about a third of the way down the band.
The stone shows a clear medium blue with a brighter window across the table, and the plain white metal on either side gives it nothing to compete with. At size five the whole thing is small and close set, sitting barely above the surface of the finger.
