The frame is what carries this ring. A round blue sapphire holds the middle of a radiating collar of tapered baguettes, with small round stones punctuating the outer points, so the head reads as a scalloped flower rather than a plain circle. Narrow pave runs down both shoulders and stops short of the base, leaving the profile slim across a size nine finger.
White gold keeps the blue at a cool register instead of warming it. The head sits low and reads wider than the sapphire alone, closer to a flat cluster head than a raised solitaire.
