An oval blue sapphire lies across the top of this ring with a triangular panel of small diamonds pressed against each of its ends, the panels narrowing to a point where they meet the shank. The result is a small wedge of light at either side of the stone instead of a run of pave down the shoulders.
The 14K white gold band is slim and plain from the shoulders back, which leaves the head as the only worked part of the ring and keeps the profile low. Sapphire 0.94 carats, diamonds 0.04 carats between them, on a size 7 shank.
