Set point down, the pear shaped sapphire sits inside a scalloped halo of round diamonds, each halo stone raised in its own collet so the outline has a beaded edge instead of a smooth one. Below the head the band divides into a split shank, two thin rails that rejoin beneath the finger.
That split leaves a small window of skin on either side of the head, which makes a 1.32 carat center read wider on the hand than its weight suggests. Cool white gold throughout, size 7.
