A marquise sapphire stands north to south at the top of a split shank, gripped by a single yellow gold prong at each point. Below it the band divides into two arms that sweep out and down, both of them set with a continuous row of small pavé diamonds in white metal, so the shoulders read as bright lines opening away from the stone.
The two-tone effect is deliberate: yellow gold at the prongs and the inner split, white metal wherever the diamonds sit. The marquise carries its length across the width of the finger and sits high enough to catch light at both tips.
