A close halo of round diamonds rings the oval sapphire, sitting just proud of the stone's edge so a fine white outline runs all the way around it. One further diamond marks each shoulder, and from there the band drops away plain to the back.
The halo does what halos do: it makes a 1.52 carat oval read larger from above without lifting it any higher off the hand. The blue is deep, nearly inky through the center, and white gold keeps the light around it cold. Size 7.
