All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
A close pavé halo of very small diamonds traces the oval sapphire in white metal, sitting tight to the girdle so the outline stays crisp rather than bulky. Where the halo meets the band, a small wedge of pavé fans out at each shoulder and then stops, leaving the rest of the yellow gold shank bare.
The two metals are doing separate jobs: warm gold on the band and at the prongs, white around the stones. Yellow gold next to the blue gives the sapphire a slightly deeper cast than a white setting would.
