All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
A full halo of small round diamonds closes right around the oval blue sapphire at the center, unbroken at every point, with the sapphire held in four fine claws that barely interrupt the circle. The halo is what carries the diamond weight of 0.30 carats, and because it is set continuously the head reads as a bright oval frame rather than as a count of individual stones.
The sapphire itself is 1.52 carats. Yellow gold is used only for the claws and the shank, so the warm metal appears as a thin line beneath a head that is otherwise white and blue, and the halo pushes the apparent size of the center stone well past its actual outline. The shank stays narrow and plain into the shoulders at size 7 US.
