A blue sapphire close to two carats sits at the center of this ring, its blue set warm against 18K yellow gold rather than the usual white. Diamonds trace the setting and pick up the contrast between the cool stone and the gold. The warmer metal gives a classic sapphire ring a slightly vintage feeling. Only one was made, and it will not be repeated.
