An elongated cushion sapphire stands upright at the head, taller than it is wide, and the white metal halo tracks that proportion exactly before the pave breaks away into two lines running down the yellow gold shoulders. The blue is bright and even, and the band of white between stone and gold stops the two colors from muddying each other.
The shank underneath stays thin and flat, so the head sits proud of the finger and the shoulder lines read as a bright taper when the hand is seen from the side. 2.10 carats of sapphire, 0.22 carats of diamond.
