The oval sapphire is a clear cornflower blue, lifted on four slim prongs with three round diamonds gathered in a tight triangle against each side of it. That makes a seven stone layout rather than a halo: the diamonds mass at the flanks and leave the top and bottom of the oval completely open, so nothing interrupts the outline of the sapphire. The three stones in each group are near equal in size and sit flat against the shoulder.
White gold holds the blue cool and unaltered, and the plain rounded band tapers a little as it runs into the head so all the brightness stays in the middle third of the ring. Sized 7 US.
