The center stone is a cushion cut sapphire of 2.22 carats, its softened corners echoed by a cushion shaped halo of pave diamonds that follows them exactly. Four yellow gold prongs reach in over those corners and hold the sapphire slightly proud of the frame, so a shadow line separates stone from pave.
The band is narrow and flat and runs straight out from the head without taper, leaving the halo to read as a distinct panel rather than a swelling of the shank. Diamonds total 0.26 carats. Ring size 7.
