The band takes a wave through the top, dipping on one side and lifting on the other, and a lozenge of oval blue sapphires is set into the crest. The ovals are laid on the diagonal in staggered rows so the group reads as one blue plaque, with a line of small white pave following the curve underneath.
There is no single center stone here. The interest is in the sweep of the shank and the way the blue field tilts across it, which makes the ring look considerably wider from above than it does in profile. Sterling silver, size 7.
