A pear cut blue sapphire is set point up, its rounded base filling the lower half of the setting, and a halo of small round diamonds follows the pear outline exactly around it. The pavé carries a short way down each shoulder and then the band runs plain to the back.
At 3.10 carats the sapphire reads dark and full across the face, and the halo pinches in at the point, which is where the eye lands first. 18K white gold, size 7.
