One oval sapphire of 3.36 carats sits with its long axis running up the finger, held in six prongs, and the blue holds evenly from end to end with no pale zone at the tips. A close halo of small round diamonds follows the oval exactly, so the outline is a true oval rather than a circle around an oval stone.
Below the halo the shank splits into two fine rows of diamonds on each side before rejoining, and that split accounts for much of the 0.32 carat diamond figure while opening two windows of skin under the setting. The 18K white gold is polished bright everywhere else. It is a US size 7, with custom sizing available on request.
