A broad oval blue sapphire takes the middle here, with one round brilliant diamond set close on either side and nothing else anywhere on the ring. The 18K yellow gold band is plain and flat, meeting the head squarely so all three stones lie in one clean line across the finger.
At 3.62 carats the sapphire is wide enough to overhang the shank a little, and the 0.48 carats of diamond split between two side stones makes them substantial in their own right rather than accents. Yellow gold pushes the blue toward its deeper end where the metal meets the girdle. Size 7.
