Three round diamonds are clustered into a small triangle at each shoulder, six stones in total, and that is the entire accent scheme. There is no halo, no pave along the shank and nothing under the stone, so the oval sapphire runs uninterrupted from prong to prong and the two little groups sit at its flanks like punctuation.
The sapphire carries 4.30 carats against just 0.16 carats of diamond. That is a restrained ratio for a stone of this size, and the result is a ring that reads almost entirely as color and white metal: a broad, deep navy oval on a plain white gold shank that tapers cleanly away from the shoulders.
