All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Every one of the diamonds sits in the halo. They close in a continuous ring around the oval sapphire, tight to its girdle, with four yellow gold claws reaching over the top and the shank left completely plain below. Nothing is set on the shoulders, so the entire bright element of the ring is concentrated in that single circle around a very dark center.
Blue sapphire accounts for 4.30 carats and diamond for 0.30 carats. The contrast is the design: a wide, deeply saturated oval that gives back almost no light at its middle, edged by a white outline, then dropped onto a flat band of warm yellow gold. The head stands well proud of the finger at size 7 US.
