Two metals are doing separate jobs here. The 4.30 carat oval sapphire is gripped in yellow gold claws, while the halo of round diamonds around it is set in white, which keeps the border bright and stops it dissolving into the color of the band.
That halo is claw set stone by stone with the diamonds angled outward, giving the outline a rayed edge rather than a smooth circle, and the shank below is wide, flat and completely plain. Diamonds total 0.30 carats. Ring size 7 US, custom sizing available upon request.
