A deep navy oval sapphire sits in four yellow gold claws at the heart of a crossover setting. A ribbon of pave set diamonds sweeps around the stone and passes over itself at the shoulders, leaving the halo open rather than closed, and the yellow gold shank rises through that gap so warm metal and white line cross without touching.
The two tone effect is what carries the ring at arm's length: gold on the outside, a bright white outline, then 4.30 carats of blue at the middle. Sized 7 US, it sits high and reads oval from every angle.
