The oval sapphire is held by yellow gold claws against a yellow gold collar, and that warm rim is the only gold in the head. Everything around it is white: a close pave halo of small diamonds rings the stone, and below it the shank splits into two diamond set bands that run down either side of the finger.
Because the halo is drawn as a circle while the stone inside it is an oval, the head reads as a disc from a distance with the blue floating at its middle. 4.30 carats of sapphire with 0.38 carats of diamond around and beneath it. Sized 7 US.
